As you can (somewhat) see from the surroundings, I own quite a few books written by or about Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. So the title of Nic Stone's debut was enough to pique my interest. Then I read the synopsis and needed to get my hands on a copy ASAP!
I'm so glad that I did! Although the book is fairly short, it manages to pack so many heavy topics between the pages without feeling dense or slow. Thoughts coming soon!
